Guiding Senior Citizens in Driving

Our professional team at Safestway Driving School in Walnut Creek, California is ready to help senior citizens in reevaluating their driving skills. We are here to professionally improve and correct practices so that they will not end up in the Driver Safety Division.

Why You Need to be Re-Evaluated

Drivers with physical or medical conditions may need to be re-examined by a physician or be retested more often than every five years. Aside from those issues, here are the following problems that will affect aging drivers:

  • Slower Reaction Time
  • Reduced Vision and hearing
  • Impaired Body Movement
  • Slower Decision Making

Follow These Three Simple Steps to Be Re-Evaluated

  • Call Safestway Driving School (925) 933-3181. Look for our staff that specializes in mature drivers.
  • Find out what’s expected of you. Laws and traffic have changed since you were first tested.
  • Find out what you need to know (Not what you think you know).

A Reminder

If you need to be restricted from driving due to health conditions, DMV may issue a conditional license rather than revoking your driving privilege. If you have any questions regarding this matter, call a DMV representative at 1-800-777-0133 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You may also turn to us if you need assistance in this matter.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation of our services must be done 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. If your cancellation does not meet these criteria, it will result in paying half of the fee that we require for your classes.
